Savage MkII and Accutrigger, always true?

To add a little more confusion. Some of the early MKII triggers, that were NOT Accutriggers, also were adjustable for trigger pull. I have owned a few MKII's and I always order one of the adjustable ones. They are drilled and tapped inside the spring pocket. Then a setscrew is used to adjust pull weight.

And if I can't find one I drill and tap it for use with a setscrew to adjust the pull weight.

There are other stuff that can be done to improve the triggers immensely. It involves a shim, is easy to do and is reliable. I will not get into how to do it here for liability reasons but it is posted by someone else on snipershide.
