AIM Surplus has 7.62x54R ammo for $79.95 per 440 round can in stock again. They sold out in a couple of days a week or so ago, so I don't know how long this supply will last. They have 615 cans in stock as of this posting.

And the price just keeps going up.

Even so, I was at a rather large LGS yesterday, and they wanted $300 a crate (2 cans) for the exact same stuff. I just shook my head and left.

Insane.

I ordered another crate again today, and with shipping it was $214. If anybody wants any out of this shipment, you better hurry. At the rate it is selling, it will be gone by this evening.

LCP-- I'm wondering how you can tell how many they have left? I've looked all over the listing at AIM and I can't find an inventory counter of any type for this ammo.

Just asking.

If you put in a really high order amount, their system will return a message that says "we're sorry but we only have XXX currently available" or something like that. They had over 500 tins when I ordered around noon today and they are now down to less than 300!

thanks for the info. I'm sitting pretty in the 54R dept, but may pick some up just to hedge against the future cost. Available surplus inventories will certainly not get any bigger, particularly if the UN has its way.

I've got plenty of 54R too, but decided to pick up another crate for the same reasons. It's still relatively cheap, but keeps going up in price, so I am also hedging against furure price increases. If prices come down in the future, I'll add to my stock, but this is probably the last I will buy until I shoot up a crate.

Have they just completely quit sending the (formerly) weekly emails?  They quit when the panic started and then I got one or two that said... sorry, we've been busy...  but that's been more than a month ago.

Yeah, if you want to be notified when an out of stock item becomes available, you have to go to that item and click on "Notify me" when the product is available. In the current environment, you need to be prepared to act fast when you receive notification that certain items are back in stock.

AIM has Russian surplus ammo in stock today, but I bet it'll be gone by this evening. I bought some of the Bulgarian ammo that was available last week, so I won't be ordering this time. If you want/need it, don't hesitate.

True, true. I like that older stuff from the 40s and 50s. It has provided massive fireballs. It feels slightly hotter than the 70s and 80s stuff to me at least.

Grafs has the surplus stuff $5 per 20 rounds. Not bad.

Yes, that's a decent price based on what has been available lately. It's in line with what AIM is selling it for after you add shipping...I assume the Grafs price includes shipping unless that is a dealer price.
