Hi guys,

I hope this is in the right spot, if not Mods please feel free to move to the appropriate forum.  I know all of you are aware of what has gone on in New York recently.  What some of you might not know is that Remington Arms is seriously considering leaving New York State, where it has been headquartered since before the Civil War.  There are already five other states courting Remington to move their manufacturing and corporate offices to their respective states.  With our extremely popular 2nd Amendment culture and the extremely business friendly environment in Tennessee, this is a match made in heaven.  We have already contacted all the appropriate leaders and economic development people and encouraged them to vigorously pursue Remington.  We have also set up a Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/BringRemingtonArmsToTennessee .  Please visit, like, and share this page.  It is nothing more than a grassroots show of support telling our leaders in Tennessee that we want them to make bringing Remington Arms to Tennessee a priority.  We will post updates as we hear back from our state leaders and keep you all informed of their progress.  Here's a link to the story out of New York regarding Remington.

Thanks for showing your support for Tennessee and again share this with everyone you know!

There is always competition for a company like this.  I'm sure Tennessee had some stiff competition when they were trying to get Nissan to move their North American Operations here.  I like Tennessee's chances in any competition.

Well, their headquarters are in NC now, and they have a plant in KY too; also an ammo plant in AR. So those states may well have a head start.

But think of it this way, if they move their Head quarters to TN, then they will better diversified.
