Worst new show of the year

I was just flipping channels a moment ago and came across a show on History.Big Rig Bounty Hunters.

 

Seems they got a truck barely on a train track of all placed with a load of cattle.  They had to wait for a tow truck while expecting a train. 

They barely got it off the tracks before the train came.

 

Another group driving down the interstate feared they where being followed so they took and exit with the plan to get right back on to confirm if they where being followed or not.

That show in my opinion is an epic fail.

The main History Channel needs to change its name. It's turned into Stupid Reality Show crap.

 

History 2 is better, but still shouldn't be called "history" anything.

I enjoy H2 ok enough, but History is unwatchable. Really like alot of Science Channel's programming, too. Dark Matters is good show, as well as Fringe.

OS, I take it you don't like Ancient Aliens then.  Serious that stuff does not belong on history channel as with all the other stupid reality shows. 

I guess they just show what pays them the best. 

 

It isn't like there isn't a ton of real history available to air.

 

After seeing this show, I thought they where trying to compete with Honey Boo Boo.

This is one of the reasons I don't pay for cable anymore. I just use netflix and YouTube for entertainment. So many of these companies have ruined their channels with this reality tv crap. You can't turn on the history channel and start learning about something. The old TechTV got run into the ground as well, but that was many years ago.

Typically I listen to podcasts for my entertainment and information these days. Plus I can crank up the speed and cover a lot of content on science, history, tech. I do this when driving, working, or around the house. Typically anytime I can't dedicate to sitting around watching something.

Want to instantly feel better about everything in the world? Stop watching tv. I'm not saying to stop paying attention to what's going on, I'm simply suggesting you get your news and entertainment from a source that doesn't scream down to you.

Want entertainment? Stop watching tv for one year and then listen to your coworker talk about their favorite commercial while you have no idea what they're talking about. Talk about a mind-blowing view of people's priorities.

Don't get me wrong, I watch a few tv shows. On my time, commercial free.

Ha, this reminds of the times I would return from a deployment having seen no commercials or movie previews in a long while. People look at you like you're crazy for not knowing what they're talking about. I still get that though, since we have a DVR service, so I never watch commercials anyway.

My worst show award goes to Hardcore Pawn. I watched it one time and then took a shower afterward.
