I think we're missing something?

You mean the "after"?  I just dropped it off yesterday.  Will post the after, after.

I love these short form rifles...I wanted to SBR a draco before all of this went to hell...glad to see you're keeping the wood, they look fantastic with it vs rails and such.

Yeah, I've never been a fan of black rifles.  I've refinished a few myself, but this one is NIB and I didn't want to Bubba it up.

I'm not familiar with SBR'ing.  I'm just gonna put a single-point sling mount and sling on it.

looks much better benton. It removed that cheap press-board furniture look.

I just dyed my M92's wood "Russian Red". The unfinished wood looks bad on them I think.

As soon as In Range starts taking work again mine is getting the SBR treatment.

What does this mean?  I have a Yugo underfolder, so what's the difference between it and the SBR?

Sbr = short barreled rifle

Go fill out the nfa paperwork, pay 200 tax stamp, wait 6 months or so to get your stamp in the mail, then put a stock on that bad boy

Your Yugo under folder has a 16" barrel. It's a title 1 firearm.

If you want to put a stock on your M92 you have to pay a tax on it because it is title 2, or an NFA firearm just like a machine gun.

I think I understand.   So, legally... putting a stock on a pistol is the same as cutting down the barrel on a rifle.

I'm confused. If that's true, why is a mares leg still considered a pistol?

Posted

Because it is supposedly too short to allow it to be shouldered.

Dolomite

Not for a youngin'.  I'm planning on picking up one of those .22s when my son becomes old enough to shoot, so that he has a shorter, more comfortable stock rather than starting out with a full length.

Oh, and the AK looks much better.

Nice

I changed the wood on one of mine as well.
