if you think the price is unfair then don't buy.  It is a pretty simple concept.

I would like someone to explain price gouging to me. If you don't like the price, don't buy. Period.  It's not personal. If you are selling something, you don't have to take what I am willing to pay and I don't have to pay your price. It is simple.

 

The only entity capable of gouging is an entity that gives you no choice but to pay for whatever it is they are offering. You HAVE to pay for it, no matter the price and you have no opt-out.  The ONLY entity I am aware of that fits that description is the government.

 

I can't be gouged on the price of a gun or ammo or gasoline or any other item. You can't either.
