Looks like a good way to lose a gun in your pants.

LOL. Not really friend.

I've used Hip Grips since the mid 1980's. They are actually a very secure method of carry and offer excellent concealment.

My Father carried a S&W Model 10 using them a long time ago.

I don't like anything that doesn't cover the trigger, might work for some but I'm a little more careful than that.

If something strikes my J Frame hard enough to actuate that 10-12 pound trigger then I have other things to worry about.

The laws of physics do apply to concealed carry my friend.

As long as you aren't violating Rule # 3 you're GTG.

I don't have much experience with revolvers but that sounds reasonable just not for the inexperienced. I'm more of a Glock guy so my outlook is cover that trigger with as many layers of safety as possible.

I was practicing with my wife's LCP which is probably comparable to the long pull of a revolver and that is definitely a different experience than the light Glock trigger that I am used to. I am much more comfortable with her having one in the chamber in her purse than with my Glock so this might work fine with practice.

Reminds of the guy on Blackhawk Down, "this is my safety" when referring to his trigger finger. Definitely practice a lot with this system (as with all methods of carry).

I don't think I could even intentionally squeeze the trigger of one of my j frames while it's in my waist. With the long trigger pull and having to rotate the cylinder at the same time.
