If you don't mind getting screwed, they have CCI 375 bulk packs for $89.95+ tax. The owner didn't think it was funny that I busted out laughing but I didn't really care what he thought. :poop:

I've been in that place twice.  When I lived in Georgia. I never bought anything though. I don't remember why, but maybe it was price.

I hope we don't look back at this post in a few months or a year and think what a bargain this was.

I really don't think we will.

That's not gouging. That's regular sale price. :)

That's not far from the truth in many gun&pawns.

That place is known for fairly high prices. They do have some neat stuff that will take you back in time. They have lots of old ammo boxes, gun accessories in old packaging, and stuff your grandpa had. I will say that they are fairly nice there though. It's one of those places you actually want to buy something.

I would have done the same thing all the way out the door.

I don't like paying higher prices anymore than the next person but most of us are only seeing one side of this. I was in a friends shop Friday and he was a little upset at the way people were acting. I knew his prices were higher now and assumed he was having to make more per sale since they couldn't get enough quantity through the shop. I was wrong! I sat down with him and went through an order he just received and was looking at what he paid to get stuff to him. Example .22lr federal 500 round bulk pack he gave $42 for it there was also an ar there that he used to pay around $800 for and he just payed $1300 to get it plus had to get 4 pistols he didn't want before they would sell it to him. Bottom line is I'm sure there are a lot of shops that have jacked prices up because they are greedy but that's not always the case.

22 have gone crazy here too. Not quite that crazy yet. Those CCI packs are $45 to $60 here when you can find them. At that price he ain't going to sell many but at least he will have them to sell I guess if some one really wants them. You can get them when you see them at the much higher price than they were or spend days or even weeks hoping and waiting to see if you can be the lucky guy that shows up in the 10min Walmart puts a few on the shelf. It is just the way it is don't like it any better than any one else but if you are going to shoot you are going to have to spend some $.

I went ahead and broke down and won an auction on GB for a 5K case of Federal American Eagle in 50 rnd. boxes for double what the normal price would be at wally world, ie, $40.00 a brick. At least the shipping is free.

I hope it is as good as the Federal lightning  that I already have.
