Need M&P FS Pusher

Recommended Posts

Anyone have a sight pusher for an M&P I can borrow or rent? I would tap them but I'm putting a Hi-Viz FO front sight in and there isn't a lot to tap without breaking the lite pipe or mount.

BTW - I'm in Nashville

I just got word that mine will be delivered today.  After I get my sites on tonight or tomorrow, I'd be happy to let you borrow it.

Wow, that took all of... 15 minutes.  Awesome tool.

Smith, let me know when you're ready for it, and we'll meet up.

The rear sight on my M&P 9 was the same. Had to put it in a vise and knock it out with a brass punch. The hammer in the punch kit wasn't big enough. Had to use a full size hammer.

Thanks to McALLYN it took all of 5 minutes. Made it a breeze and I didn't break my lite pipe! Thanks Bill!

From what I've heard the older M&P sights require much more force to remove than newer models.  Don't know if that's true or not but mine is an older model and it was quite the stubborn bugger to get off.

Glad it worked well for you!  That thing is a miracle of modern engineering!

Yep, mine was tough (older one). I think it's was mostly the rear sights. There were lots of cautions at the time not to used a sight pusher because it would break.
