Agenda 21 What our kids are being taught

Recommended Posts

This started a while back and it has not gotten alot of attention. Along with exectutive order 13603 and 13575, the federal government is expanding it's powers to make this come true in our life time.

The learn that mathematics is man-made, that it is arbitary, and good solutions are arrived at by consensus among those who are considered expert.

2+2=5?

Nevermind...watched the next five seconds and realized that the speaker also made the connection to Orwell.

He's simply using the "STOP ME IF YOU CAN" technique. He has the full support of his most powerful disciples, Reid, Pelosi, Boxer, Feinstin, the Clintons, Sharpton, Rove, the list is very long, to accomplish the push to a so called "progressive" America.  From what I've read, Socialism and Progressivism both seek the economic and political equality of all members of society and the Socialist slogan "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs" apply.

Once upon a time I would have disagreed with your inclusion of Rove in your list, but it is accurate. I saw the light.

Rove fits that bill, maybe even more than Bill Clinton, but Hillary is still one, also.

nothing new there, new math: the wrong answer is fine, just try to solve it and that is good enough.   The right answer is not really important anyway.   For the last 20 years or so math in many schools has headed off on this tangent, then we wonder why our SAT scores fell off or why other countries kids are better at math and science than we are.

Trying not to get the tin foil wrapped to tightly this morning and was wondering ... I see all these videos about 21 and its impact on America, but miss what it does in other parts of the world. Are Americans the primary goal of 21, or do I just not hear about its goals elsewhere? I understand the idea that we lead the free world so why we might be the primary focus, but what about elsewhere? Are there biodiversity maps of say ... China? England? Switzerland? Other parts of the world reportedly have increasing education and scores in math and science ... is that because our students are dumber, or the standards have already eroded in these other countries so they are reported as smarter, when really they do better on dumber tests? Just some thoughts from a guy that's new to 21.

Years of Math 1950 - 2010

Last week I purchased a burger at Burger King for $1.58. The counter girl took my $ 2 and I was digging for my change when I pulled 8 cents from my pocket and gave it to her. She stood there, holding the nickel and 3 pennies, while looking at the screen on her register. I sensed her discomfort and tried to tell her to just give me two quarters , but she hailed the manager for help. While he tried to explain the transaction to her, she stood there and cried. Why do I tell you this? Because of the evolution in teaching math since the 1950s:

1. Teaching Math In 1950s

A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is 4/5 of the price. What is his profit ?

2. Teaching Math In 1960s

A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is 4/5 of the price, or $80. What is his profit?

3. Teaching Math In 1970s

A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is $80. Did he make a profit?

4. Teaching Math In 1980s

A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is $80 and his profit is $20. Your assignment: Underline the number 20.

5. Teaching Math In 1990s

A logger cuts down a beautiful forest because he is selfish and inconsiderate and cares nothing for the habitat of animals or the preservation of our woodlands. He does this so he can make a profit of $20.. What do you think of this way of making a living? Topic for class participation after answering the question: How did the birds and squirrels feel as the logger cut down their homes? (There are no wrong answers, and if you feel like crying, it's ok. )

6. Teaching Math In 2009

Un hachero vende una carretada de maderapara $100. El costo de la producciones es $80. Cuanto dinero ha hecho?

7. Teaching Math In 2012
Who cares, just steal the lumber from your rich neighbor's property. He won't have a gun to stop you, and the President says it's OK anyway cuz it’s redistributing the wealth.

Agenda 21 isn't just about math. It's also about land use, property rights, common areas, planned communities, the list goes

on and on. UN has a web page for Agenda 21. It's a nice intrusive way to screw you out of your rights as an American citizen.

Nothing tinfoil about it, either.
