Fur Down

Went coyote hunting this morning and called in 2 but was only able to get one, which turned out to be the female. I was using my trusty cottontail distress hand call and decoy. I made three series on the hand call and they came charging in. Total call time was probably 7 minutes or so. I got her hung up in this pic so I could skin her out. I have a few more but they are graphic with guts hanging out.

Calls: Haydel's Government Cottontail Distress

Decoy: FoxJack (with homemade topper)

Rifle: Howa M1500 Ranchland 243

Ammo: Hornady 75gr Hollow Points

Distance: Around 50 yards

Total call time: 7 minutes with 2 seen and 1 shot

I haven't had much so don't feel bad. Man did I get pumped when they came in. It's like I shot my first ever coyote lol.

They did not come down wind. The way I setup didn't allow them to come down wind.
