So I have been wanting to build this rifle for some time now. Picked up a Savage 110 action with accu-trigger. Decided to go with a McRee Precision chassis. ( http://shop.mcreesprecision.net/McRees-Precision-G5-TMAG-Folding-Rifle-Stock-2-STD-FLD.htm?productId=11 )

Now I am searching for a barrel and was wanting some feed back if anyone has any experience with a Douglas or Brux barrels? Or another other brand I should check out. Thanks JC

So after several months of waiting I got my action in from Stiller Precision. Its a remmy 700 clone. Also came in was Jewell trigger with a 1.5oz break on it. Now have to get in line to send out for barrel and barrel install. Still plan on running a McRee Chassis or may stick this one on my Wiskey 3 chassis. Still will be a 6.5x47 lapua build either way.

Very interested in this build, I debated the caliber before deciding to go with another vanilla 260 rem. Keep us up to date on the progress and the results. Never used a Brux barrel, bug holes.com is a great place to find a barrel though. Mine will be built around a Bartlein 6.5 blank (second on the list would be a rock creek and if I decided to go the button rifle route I would give Dan Lilja a call.). My build is just waiting on me to finally decide to finish my long range AR10 (was very close to going Lilja on it with zero wait, Bartlein was forever wait and went Lothar Walther instead.)

I have decided on a Lilja barrel for sure. I have been talking to gunsmith in Ga I believe about it. Wished I could find a more local gunsmith outfit that I could use.
