Naga Chilli Vodka

I found something I just have to try. It claims to be at 250,000 scovilles, but that's only about the heat of a low end habanero. Then again I don't go around drinking habaneros.... I guess it could be more of an intense heat than when eating something hot.

Sadly the shipping is almost as much as the vodka itself.

normally I would say set me up a shot, but this might be the first alcohol I will pass on.

I am sure that will burn in and out.

I had a group of friends that thought they would be cool and sit around and drink a bottle during our annual get together.

I don't think anyone had a third shot.

I didn't hear any good  reports about it.

I drank some tequila that had a similiar gimmick as this.  There is absolutely nothing fun about it.

I make my own pepper volka for bloody mary's. Just use a couple of dried ancho chili peppers and a half dozen jalapeno (cut in half), pour in your volka and let it set for a week. The ancho's give it a great flavor and color.
