Mark as Sold in Classifieds

Does the poster of a sale ad in the classifieds have the ability to mark it Sold. When I try using topic moderation or edit, I'm told I'm not authorized to perform this function. I was able to lock the thread, but it still shows For Sale rather than Sold.

I am not sure if you can edit it after you have locked it. You may need help from a mod if its locked.

Swim615, I did all that. Still was told I wasn't authorized to do that.

 

Locking the post was just to see if I could.

I just went through all the settings and there's nothing in there that should be preventing this from working properly provided you're following the correct steps.   I can sign in as you and try it out if you want me to see it firsthand.

I am gonna review the steps cause I had trouble with that as well. . .I tried to mark mine as sold before locking.
