If you can tell me the day that you are going to die, I can build the absolute best financial plan for you and your family. You keep car insurance, you keep home owners insurance, you might even and you should keep life insurance. Why? For that ever so slight chance that something will happen unexpectedly.

I work on a college campus, and go to school there, so 5 days out of the week I'm there from 7 am to 9 pm, so no carry, what with they would arrest me any all. The weekends though are a whole nother story.

Luckily I have a good job and the ability to exercise my rights daily. I would rather have it and not need it then need it and not have it.

I too had an incident in a Wal Mart parking lot back a couple of years ago. Actually we (me, wife and 2 sons) were walking back to our car, on a Sunday after church I might add, when 2 older guys were walking in front of us. They were walking in the middle of the aisle and a younger guy in a car came behind us looking for an open slot. The 2 older guys would not move so he could pass. Then the verbal trash started. The young guy gets out, and he is about 6'5" 250lbs. and one of the older guys pulls a gun from his pocket. Looked like a 25 or something and starts yelling "come on". Needless to say I told the wife and boys to get in the car quick. The young guy gets back in his car and drove away. Smart man! Anyway from that day forward I vowed to protect myself and family. There are crazies everywhere. Be prepared but don't be stupid.
