4 years this weak. It expired Monday, waiting on the renewal now.

obtained my first one in TN 4 months ago after my Florida one was heading towards its' 6 month limit after moving here...had one in FL for 9 years

May '09, carried daily ever since, so closing in on 4 years. Sent my renewal fee a couple of weeks ago, and received the temporary letter.

...and received the new permit yesterday! Looked back where I wrote the check Feb 1st, so 3 weeks flat.

 

State of Tennessee is quite proficient at selling our rights back to us.

I took my class in April of 1997 and then shipped out for Basic Training and AIT at Fort Sill. When I returned home in Septemer, my shiny new permit was laying on the counter waiting for me. So going on 16 years for me.
