I got a flyier from Gander Mtn today. Some good prices on ammo, in store. It will be out of stock by the time I get there. Closest store is Jackson.

I got the same flyer and like to sit on the can reading and laughing about their "great" deals every morning.

 

Undestand this....THERE IS NO AMMO....at least at any price a normal person would pay.

There is no such thing as a good price at Gander Mountain.

It's like the Spring Catalog from Sportsmans Guide 8 full pages of great prices on ammo + small ads thru out the catalog with special sales prices on bulk ammo. The only problem is they don't have any! Gander Mountain hasn't had good prices over the past 20 years.

Garufa has it right. Best place for these sales flyers is in the "can"

Not to far east of Memphis. Closer to the sippi line. Jackson is over 2 hours for me. 2 lane hiways with 20 to 55 mph speed limits. The Jackson store openned with a great deal on 2 cycle oil, limit 2. The wife and I made 2 trips in to get that. She got a T-shirt for signning up for their credit card. I made guitar picks out of it when we got home. Nothing else caught our eye, haven't been back. I said it in an earlier thread, we shop more in Southaven than anywhere else.

I stopped in the new store in Valdosta GA last fall.  They were such assholes to my wife and myself for wearing Alabama T-Shirts I made sure to let the manager know I will never spend a dime with them on my way out.

I was in the Jackson store yesterday.  I did not see any ammo.  Gun prices were absurd.  I stopped in to look at their display of rangefinders. two of the dozen they had out for display worked or had power.  

 

I kick myself every time I stop at gets-my-gander.

Huntsvile( AL) store just 30 minutes south of me. I was able to get a deal on my S&W M&P sport this time last year. But no ammo to speak of now, some good deals though, usually the luck of the draw. I rarely buy from them these days. I can usually find what i need cheaper online or at another store.
