In the 30-second advert Perry tells listeners his state has "low taxes, sensible regulations and fair legal system," adding: "Building a business is tough, but I hear building a business in California is next to impossible. Come check out Texas.

"There are plenty of reasons Texas has been named the best state for doing business for eight years running."

CA gov. is trying to downplay it, but my guess is in true Texan form (and the fact that TX has $8.8 billion in surplus) that CA is about to get a media blitz like they've never seen

Perry has been actively going after businesses in states such as Cali for a few years now. It's why TX has experienced such a large increase in the number of businesses moving there and overall population.

And yet the liberal spending elitists of California look down their nose at Texans as if they are backwater hicks, while their government gets more in the hole each day and their citizens suffer astronomical costs of living on top of taxes. I hope Texas keeps up the advertising campaign, if anything to rub their nose in it.

"Building a business is tough, but I hear building a business in California is next to impossible. ---That is very true, I believe it was Carl's Jr./ Hardee's, said it took two years of waiting, just to get the foundation laid!

On the other side of the coin! California Mexicans will follow for those jobs! Granted Texas already has a shit load of them!

I lived in California for over 40 years, it is out priced, over taxed, gasoline was over $4.50 when we left! California has really gone to shit!
