Boys and Girls:

The Gallatin Gun Club (www.gallatingun.com) will be shooting the IDPA Classifier Match on Saturday, July 12. Registration starts at 8am, shooter's meeting at 8:45, shoot at 9am. (The match is held on the rifle range.)

If you shoot IDPA and are unclassified, this is a great way (and the only way) to get classified.

More info on GGC IDPA is here: http://www.gallatingun.com/matches.asp#idpa

More info on the classifier cof is here:

You do NOT have to be a GGC member to shoot IDPA. For more information, call Robert Standley at 417-2747.

I'll be there and also at an IDPA SO course the following Saturday. Robert has more info on that as well.

Sounds like a plan. Monday is awful, Tuesday is ok, rest of the week is good for me.

anyone up for some practicing this week?

Let's say Thursday at Guns and Leather...around noon?

If they're not too busy, perhaps we can get Dennis to program the COF into the electronic range.

Hmm. Make the targets move since the shooter can't? Sounds like a plan. I would think the odds would be increased if we called Dennis before hand so he had some lead time. Plus the promise to buy some ammo and browse by two guys he knows can't resist the new toys...

Plus, will give me a chance to break in the new member of the arsenal. Feels great in the hand, dry-fires nice, but I need to load it up and run her. I've owned it 5 days and have yet to shoot it. That's just plain wrong!

I'll try to make some calls and see. If nothing else, perhaps Ben or Daniel can run the system or tel lus how to set it up. I have the COF sheet the IDPA sent me

what's your new toy?

Well it was hotter than hell, the day was long, and I didn't achieve my goals. Other than that it was a fine day of shooting.

Len and I had to miss it. We had a HCP class to teach today. Finally got my 1st class under my belt.

GS: What was your goal?

In SSP I was expecting something around 105, ended up at 125. Didn't even shoot to my current classification.
