the best deals are the ammo can.   that is if you want to drive to pick them up.  but you still could make some money even with the drive time.

roughly 70 cases per pound right? 1,670,900 cases. Seems like the going rate for once fired .223 is about 1000 for $100 so this lot is worth $167,090. Assuming the bid stays under $4 a pound this would be a deal. Who wants to go in on it? If we could just get 80 members to go $1000 a piece :)

We totally need to figure out a way to get this and split it up.

Description says that it is a mix of ball & blank cartridge casings.

Unfortunately the blank casings couldn't be reloaded as 5.56 but they could be cut down at the shoulder to be used for .300 black or resold/recycled as scrap.

I don't need any more 5.56 brass but I certainly wouldn't mind going in on a bulk .308 brass deal like this. Edited February 5, 2013 by RichardR

hmm if you were desperate enough you could probably lop off 223 blanks and resize to 9mm and make a poorish 9mm load too (?).
