lol, this happens in my house regularly. I have never caught my kids in the act, but somehow my covers fall off too.

Agreed. The older they get the costlier their destruction.

My son recently got the Cabelas Turkey hunting catalog. Amazingly he didn't shred it. I think because I showed him the decoys and taught him to point at them and say gobble gobble gobble, well really his sound is more like dog-o-dog-o-dog-o-dog-o-dog-o Edited by JWC

I too have a destroyer of the printed media. I wish I could tell you it's just a phase...

 

 

Mine too.  My wife is very much a book lover and would go bonkers when our son would tear up a book, regardless of what book it was.  At 5, he doesn't tear up books much anymore.  He's moved on to more expensive things...   His little brother isn't quite so bad.
