The
Superbowl is the 2nd most watched sporting event in the world. More
than 100 million people worldwide watch the Super Bowl every year. In
fact, Super Bowl XLIV in 2010 unseated M*A*S*H's series finale as the
most watched show in television history with over 106.5 million
watchers.

Heres a funny banned TV ad.

must watch.

I hope both team buses crash into one another en-route to the stadium.  Failing that I am rooting for the blimp to crash through the stadium roof.

On a day  a true American hero has fallen why would I watch a bunch of spoiled millionaires strut and jaw on every play like they have achieved great things.

Spoiled, overpayed, drug infested cry babies giving High 5s to each other for playing a game.....and they are being touted as hero/role models????.... :taser: ....I think not     just more bread and circus for diverting our attention to real issues.

I watch every year.   I just love football.  I don't have a favorite in this year's game, but it's a fun event to watch at my cousin's house.  Food, football, fun commercials and conversations.  What's not to like?

I'm not what you'd call a "sports guy". I like sports, i just can't sit down and WATCH sports.

If I had season passes and the ability to follow all the games, sure. But there's nothing appealing to me about yelling "throw the ball!" from the comfort of my couch.

Agree with that stan, especially hockey. Love to watch minor league games in person, but we never watch a single one on TV. It's more about being able to get out and do something, more so than to count how high the scoreboard goes.

Wow!  When I saw the title of this thread and all the posts, I thought I'd be the first one to say "I couldn't care less"

I stand corrected.......

I admit I'll probably have it on while I do other stuff, but also admit I'll probably pay more attention to the new commercials!

Back in college I had an internship with the guy who does all of the graphics from the predators. Most of the stuff that came up on the jumbotron or whatever they call it. I even got some of my work played during the games... in turn i'd get to go to the games occasionally. HAD A BLAST. So much fun to watch it live. But on TV.... meh....

frequent this forum?

We have a group of friends that always get together for the super bowl. Not so much about the game as it is good friends, good food and good drink. We normally go our way after the half time show when the women finish critiquing the commercials. Last year we reloaded about 250 rounds on 12g during the first half.
