Can't believe it. I partially agree with Bill Maher

He insults 2A defenders as often as he can (I don't agree there) but he is correct about all the other rights on the Bill of Rights.

The problem I have is that he claims that it's all "gun nuts" and NRA types that are sleeping while the Bill of Rights is dismantled.  EVERYONE seems to be busy watching sports on TV or gossiping on FaceBook while the government slowly erodes all our rights converting us from citizens into subjects.

His ratings must really be down. I agree where he is going, but those aren't his real views. He must be trying to cover

up something. Another thing, depending on when he did this, is whether or not he heard Alan Dershowitz comments

before he came up with it. He only wants those Bill of Rights protections when they protect him. He was funny, though.

Otherwise, he's a putz.

Anyone who relies on a comedian for news is nuts. Sad to say it, but most media types are comedians,

though.

Opening monolog trying to be funny about very serious topics. Obama, who taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago is leading the charge to dismantle our Bill of Rights. But he is not the only one, most previous presidents have pushed the limit. Yes, the Patriot Act was often attacked and it's attackers were given some credence. I like Bill's point about wire-taps, it is a good one. Bill actually implies a media bias in Bush vs Obama. I'm glad some things in the Patriot Act were allowed to sunset. I guess it served a purpose at the time but I was not real happy with it. I've trusted all past presidents more than I trust Obama.

Off topic but speaking of the constitution, Originally, we allowed presidents to serve as many terms as they could win. There's has been talk just this week of returning to that. I saw that coming.

I don't agree its him on much, but I love his delivery. Funny is funny.

As far as this clip, he's right on. As we're all consumed with what this administration may or may not do with our guns, this one slips right by. I'm as guilty as the next. There no doubt a method to the government's madness.

Maher's a douch. Really sad that I know some people at work who rely on him for the news, him and Colbert.

They don't know he is a comedic and not a news reader?

Afraid so, I always remind them that both are on the comedy network. Appears this is their only source. I believe that they can be referred to as the "low-information-voter".
