He said... if we can save the life of just one child.

It would be worth it. So, how about Obama going down to Alabama and telling that man if he releases that poor little boy, he'll step down as President? Afterall, wouldn't it be worth it?

Our policies of not negotiating with hostage takers has cost a lot more than one child their life. Negotiate with them, lie to them, and then kill or arrest them when they release the hostages.

Agree, Do whatever it takes to get the child.  Then kill him. Anyone who does things to children does not deserve to live.

I’d lie to him and I’d sign whatever papers necessary to offer him immunity if he let the kid go. Then put the cuffs on him. He’s a psychopath that has murdered one person and is holding a five year old kid hostage. I’d even send Obama a thank you note if he did something to free that kid.

Besides, he beat a dog to death. I’d shoot him just for that.

Well documents signed like that are signed under duress would not be legally binding (for the record) but if something like that would get the kid free then by all means.

However I am not aware of any demands that have been made so far.

Exactly, I didn’t mean to imply I would honor them, would be required to, or I think anyone else should. He isn’t a “suspect”, he is actively engaged in several ongoing forcible felonies and at this very moment the child is in danger of death or great bodily harm. He’s bought and paid for, all we can hope is that they can get the kid out.

However I am not aware of any demands that have been made so far.

We have no idea whether demands have been made or not; no one is letting information out. Good for them.

Make up your mind :) Cuff him or shoot him. I'm kinda fond of shooting him, or maybe both
