And your point?

And your point?

Absolutely nothing. I would own one if I had the money. The way they said it is like everyone and their grandmother has one and is regularly bringing down planes.

Jeebus has the media nothing else to report on? How about crushing debt, no jobs, Obozo's leftist socialist policys, the cost of Obozo care, worthless unions and politicians and so on. Oh wait.....nobody cares about that...just destroying the Constitution and everything it stands for. Assholes....

Because if they had to actually report the truth about those things, it would be actual unbiased reporting, and we can't have that.

I wonder what the owner/shooter of the Barret would have to gain by doing this story?

Seems like if you are into shooting this would be counter productive to your sport. Edited by swim615

I think we all need to write NC5 and voice our dislike for this hit-piece! :livid:

Has it been on yet? I thought it was today?

AFAIK, a Barrett has never been used in a murder in the US, at least my google skills can't find one. So, What's the point of this investigative piece?

If the 2nd Amendment is about hunting and skeet shooting, then the 1st is about scrabble and crossword puzzles. :-)

Of course you can't. Why would you need to use a Barrett when all of those evil Black weapons are just lying around for children to play with.

Typical liberal smear campaign. If you don't like something, demonize it until you have enough votes to kill it.

I was dumb enough to follow trail of money to the VPC which I found out almost entirely comes from The Joyce Foundation which advocates banning of all guns and archery equipment in the US (this is the only group I've ever heard of that was for banning archery equipment). Then I found a notable name of past board members, Barack Hussein Obama. Why in the hell didn't we hear about this during any of the campaigns from either side? It pretty much debunks any claim he may have that he's "a strong supporter of the second amendment" (why do all the people who want even slingshots banned claim to be pro-2A).

And BTW, even the VPC can't come up with one instance of a .50 cal being used in the commission of a crime and they spent millions researching the subject. All they could find was a few incidences of a .50 being seized because it was owned by someone who had committed some other crime. Yet, with no evidence, this group was successful in getting the Peoples Republic of Kalifornia to ban all .50 cals. WTF?

His link to the Joyce Foundation has been out there forever.

I'm a pretty politically and news savvy guy and had never heard it before today. Where the hell have I been?

There's so much information flowing these days, we all miss stuff. Add the fact that a lot of the information is bad, and it's hard to get your arms around reality. Here's what we know. Obama hates guns, and holds a shotgun like a girl :)

A weapon anyone can own.

Is there a weapon that anybody can NOT own?  You have the cash, you can have the weapon, North Korea, Pakistan and Iran all point to that fact.

If he meant own without breaking the current law he should have said so.
