ERIC HOLDER GOES AROUND CONGRESS ON GUN CONTROL

Recommended Posts

I wish I could say I was surprised .... this entire administration's agenda is black & white and on display for the world to see .... yet they have lemmings that will follow them to the ends of the earth ...

hope is fleeting fast

What does "denied" mean? What about all the folks that are temporarily denied, overturned on appeal?  That mean they're on the database?

Guess. Is a picture of you bending over and grabbing ammo still on the Internet? :)

Well, if you grab the foodwrap & make a hat, it means:

there will be a sudden increase to nearly 100% of denied purchases due to a "glitch" in the system caused by "the new improvements" which will then "not exactly register" you in mr database.

If you take off the tinfoil, like it or not, the bafte has a mandate from congress already and I am not sure these measures are "outside" that mandate or not.  Its on the edge, sure, but I am not 100% sure he bypassed congress to do these things.   The american indian data sharing seems within his powers.  The second one, sharing data across agencies, also seems to be within his powers.   The third one, keeping a database, seems to be at best questionable, I am simply not sure if that is an overstep or not.

I mentioned that angle earlier. From message traffic here, appears that we've recently had an uptick of temporary denials, overturned on appeal. A tinfoil hat person might suspect a sampling technique in operation. :)

I've recently wondered if the government would just start denying all beckground checks for guns. Or just start dragging their feet and make it take days (if not weeks) to get a background check passed. They could blame it on the huge surge in firearm sales for the delay. They could just lay off about half of the people that do the checks (blame in on republican budget cuts) so it would take a long time to get a background check passed.

I'd make a good liberal. I can think of all kinds of ways to screw us gun owners. Most of witch I won't post in public for fear one of them may take one of my ideas. I'm sure it's nothing they haven't already thought of though.

OK, so arrange matters so that EVERYONE gets "denied" on a first background check query, to build the database. Then, on appeal, folks with a clean background get approved. Could it happen here? Last year this would be a conspiracy theory, this year, perhaps not.

I am just tired of all of these attacks on my rights. I do think its a deflector of the true serious problem we face, the national debt. What would be the headlines if guns, immigration, and Hagel were not in the current headlines?

We may wind up being Glad that Tennessee controls that process. THEY have the database, so the feds can't hold up anything.

My understanding is the info is passed from TICS to NICS, just that TICS checks some other stuff.

But the feds get the same info regarding the sale as they would in any state. No?
