Yep. Even those that don't for them though?

That's they way it works. If it didn't, the the hell being created for all of us by the statists in Washington wouldn't affect me as I didn't vote for Obama or Romney. Sadly life isn't fair, just predictable. Stupid people vote in large numbers for stupid politicians who will do stupid things and then those stupid people will pay the price for having elected stupid politicians.

That much is understood. But by your statement you deserve what Obama and his ilk give you even though you didn't vote for him. I disagree.

While certain individuals may not actively share in the collective guilt, we are working with broad strokes here. Chicago had that ban in place fore over 30 years. The majority of the country voted for Obama. The majority of this country has voted for big government statists for over a century. As an individual, I may not be guilty of voting for Obama but as a citizen of the US, I'm gonna get what's coming to all of us.

That's great, now they need to use it to fight the assholes in Washington.

They need to spend that money in Illinois. In December the 7th Federal District stuck down Illinois laws banning guns in public and gave them six months to come up with new legislation.

The Illinois citizens outside Chicago are good people just like many of us in Tennessee and want carry laws. Right now it appears it may be a “can issue” instead of a “shall issue” that will allow the County Sherriff to make the decision. This needs to be fought, it will allow most of the “downstaters” to carry but will still ban the citizens in “Chicagoland” from carrying while allowing the Chicago people with political pull to get permits.

Many of us here know good people in Illinois and we need them in our group of people that can carry.
