Ruh-roh - I had no idea this thread would have comedic value...

Why are all the good dealers in middle/east TN?

grumble, grumble...

I honestly don't know if you'll find any. They have all but dried up, hence the ridiculous prices for stock examples on the auction sites.

The good news is that RAA (the importer) supposedly has a bunch about to be released into circulation but not just yet.

If I purchase from a dealer in-state, does it have to be an FFL transfer or can a rifle be ship directly to me?

If you purchase from a dealer it would have to be transfered through either the selling FFL or your local FFL.

Figures - we can't catch a break over here...

What kind of Saiga? The shotguns are scarce everywhere but you can still find the rifles fairly easily online at good prices depending on the caliber. You can still find a 7.62 or .223 for less than $300. Not so much with the .308.

Don't know if they still have any, but this is, unfortunately, the going rate:

I bought two .223's and two 7.62x39's from Mississippi Auto Arms back at the end of February for $260.00 each, delivered. Hopefully these prices will be back down there (or lower) in a few months.

Which Saiga are you wanting? I can talk to distributors and see what I can find, and get back to you.
