The manager shot Johnson in the arm and hand.

I wonder if it was his shooting hand (if anybody remembers that conversation).

To bad they didn't say what caliber he used, could tip him with some ammo :koolaid:

Nice thing about Sonic is they are independently owned. The "Manager" may well have been the owner as well.

Could be. The paper pointed out the manager had a HCP, if he/she was the owner, the HCP would not be required. (Of course, I bet a liberal rag would be reluctant to publish that.)

I have been in that particular Sonic. I would like to know what type of firearm that manager was using,as I would supply him/her with a fresh box of golden sabres!

Wouldn't it better if we knew what night he was on duty?

To show up on a night he is not present may have some symbolic weight, but would lack the personal touch.

I would like to do a meet and greet of the assistant manager as well.

Now I gotta go back and read to find out his name and call for info.....

********

info:

Name: Sonic Drive In of Old Hick Tn

Street: 1410 Robinson Road

City:Old Hickory, tn 37138-2810

Phone: (615) 541-0480

I got to thinking.... If I call and ask for the name of the manager who shot the robber and ask if he is working. I may cause a scare................. Can you blame them? Fear of retaliation, etc.

Courts keep letting criminals back on the streets............

Anyone have a recommendation?

Good Thinking. Call and explain our situation. Understand that they will not be able to tell you if he is working or not but let them know we are coming in support of him and his actions. Maybe even give them the link to this thread.

I think his name is Mr.Schaefer

This is the info from the Criminal Clerks Office Case # GS388183

On 7/3/08 around 2224 hrs a shooting was called in at the

Sonic restaurant located at 1410 Robinson Rd in Old Hickory(Davidson Co). Officer responded to

the scene and located numerous victims and witnesses to the crime. Two suspects entered the

business through a front door. Both had t-shirt pulled up over their faces. This suspect entered the

business and went around the counter inside the business and walked toward Mr.Schaefer and Ms.

Ramsey. The second suspect stopped where victim's Dobbs and Payne were. The second suspect

started grabbing for the money in their aprons. This suspect pulled a gun and pointed it at victim

Ramsey. Victim Schaefer saw the suspects approaching the business with their faces covered. He

then saw this suspect with a pistol. Schaefer was armed and fired several shots at this suspect from

about ten feet away. This suspect was shot numerous times in the hands and right arm. Both

suspects fled the store. On his way out this suspect dropped the pistol that he was carrying an d it

was recovered by I.D. Both suspects then got into a Maroon car, believed to be a Ford Taurus, and

was driven away by a third suspect. .While the case was still being investigated gallatin P.D called

and said that they had a shooting victim that had arrived at the Sumner Regional Medical Center.

Two subjects that brought him in were detained and that "victim" would be headed to Vanderbilt.

This suspect originally told Sumner Co that he had been shot in Gallatin. Later he told them that it

did not happen in Sumner CO. Mr.Humphrey, one of the subjects from the hospital was

interviewed. He stated that this suspect told him that he was trying to rob something and the

intended victim had shot him.

Just got thru!

Unfortunately, they are not confirming if Mr. Schaefer is working tonight.

The lady I spoke with (no name given, sorry) indicates he does not wish to speak with anyone regarding the incident.

So, we are back to square one.........

Does anyone want to have tater tots tonight?

Well that sucks. I wouldn't mind going, but it's kinda pointless unless he knows we are there to support him. :D

I say let's do it anyway. Even if he's not there, we can let the employees know we came to show our support for his heroics. What time?

If DA BOSS hasn't made plans for us, I will try to be there.

(She likes the onion rings, so I got a bargaining chip) :D

Well they are pretty good!

I would go if I lived there. If he is there, tell him we are proud on the west side of the state.

I just had a funny thought, what a rude awakening a scumbag would have tonight if he attempted an armed hold up of the Sonic at 7:00....

Haha I was thinking about that as well. Unfortunately I don't have my permit yet so if it happens you can cover me while I run away!
