Truely sad. But this angers me more because Chicago has some of the toughest gun restrictions(I won't call it legislation at it's unconstitutional) in the country, This incident is proof that gun restrictions don't do jack squat to prevent gun violence.

But was she shot in the back 30 times with a rifle?  No.  Once with a pistol, from the sound of it.   

 

Senseless violence of any kind is senseless.  I hope they catch the shooter. 

 

But if she had not just been at the big block party for our glorious leader, would it even have made the news?  Just another day in that lawless, corrupt city.

Jonnin, you are right, if she hadn't been at the inaugeration, this wouldn't even have been news at all. It would have just been another day in the "safest city in America".

This story is a fake. Handguns are illegal in Chicago and therefore it is impossible that one was used.... again..... in the 600th-ish handgun related murder I Chicago in the past 13 months. Good thing the law abiding folks aren't allowed handguns to shoot criminals with. Can you imagine the mayhem if bullets were being fired back? At least the bullets are only going in one direction. Seems like they all got it under control up there.

That being said.

 

Residents of Chicago, and the rest of IL, are getting the government they voted for. One former governor is just getting out of prison on coruption charges, another is still in and many other IL politicians have been in jail or prison. Even more have never been convicted but could have been. Chicago politics are more corrupt than the state and that's not easy. Both parties are filled with worthless skankbags (I just made that one up and I like it) and Illinois has been that way for many, many decades..
