WOW, JG Sales...I paid $450 after transfer for one of these back in May/June 2012. I know people will say it's a free market, but WOW. That gun is not worth 1k.

If somebody will pay it, it is worth it.  But I know what you mean.  I am probably not going to buy a gun for six months.

even if i was gonna buy an "assault rifle" at todays market prices it wouldnt be a 5.45x39 just for the fact that IF there were any type of ban on imported guns and/or ammo ... 5.45 isnt domestically produced unlike .223 or 7.62x39

The suppliers are tired of scalpers making outrageous profits and have cut them out. Kindof like venues "scalping" their own tickets.

I bought a CAI tantal on a nodak-spud receiver NIB for $400 in sept 2012. this is a total joke.

I mean if it was an Interarms Tantal...it would still be a horrible buy, but taking a chance on a Century for 1k? NO.

go look on armslist and see how many crapy AK variants are for sale on there at 1000+ i laugh every time i see them... like October i think it was me and a buddy went to outpost and they had a WASR on the rack in the show room for 650 something.... and i thought THAT was too much lol its a $450 guns at best with its crooked sights... plus i wanted an underfolder anyways... or a PAP pistol... i dont know what these people think they have ...i mean the furniture looks like it was made out of a warped 2x4

 I would never shell out over 1K for a non chrome lined bore AK, ever. Like never ever. If I ever sold a Century Tantal for over $500, I couldn't live with myself. I had one, it was fun, but couldn't find ammo locally. I traded it for a WASR from another member on this site. It's a good WASR.
