OK, AR's are not assault weapons, they are PDWs.

I believe this should be clear as mud.  I am going to refer to AR's and such as PDW or Personal Defense Weapons. 

I was never big on calling them assault weapons anyways.

You can't call your rifle the same thing as the government now.  You'll have to call it a rifle for hunting and maybe self defense if that's ok with everyone or some such nonsense.

I was under the impression that the PDW designation was used on AR pistol length barrel setups. IIRC, they are used for those inside vehicles. Like truck drivers who may have to deploy the weapon while still inside the cab. Think SBR with a sub-10" barrel.

Truth be told, they probably just want to buy them up so we can't. Probably part of the reason for raising the debt ceiling :shake:

Nope, PDW's are also select fire. Government issue PDW's, that is. Big Sis wants to outgun us. She thinks we are coming for her.

 

There has to be a guy named "Bullard " in Homeland Security, by now. :D
