one thing... i would take the tail gate off! or you wont have one when that beast rest on it.... i tell u i have a small safe... and that sucker weighed almost 800 pounds... OMG! as small as it is it weighs a LOT! 3 people with an appliance dolly was a "B" to wrestle that thing in the house and up 3 steps.... the guy dropped it off in a small tractor trailer rig and had a lift gate and a pallet jack... by myself i strapped it to the dolly and couldn't even rock it back on the wheels to wheel it any where lol so yea i recommend a moving company... if i ever move i am deff calling a safe moving company

You could also see if there are any Piano Movers in the area. A full size grand piano isn't as heavy as a safe but they ARE heavy, awkward, and extremely fragile. They generally have good moving equipment to do it with.

i"d be willing to help. NE TN has some active members. Maybe a few of us could come over and lend a hand.

I appreciate that man, we'll see what happens when I decide to buy one. I figured I could rouse some of y'all up if I needed too, but I know it's never fun to move safes.

I'm not sure how far you are from me but I own a delivery company so I have all the tools at my disposal. If it wouldnt burn too much diesel, I could bring one of my box trucks with liftgate so we could slide it on to that and lower it to the ground.

I have switch in my safe hooked up to the alarm system with it's own zone that has to be bypassed to get in to the safe without setting the alarm off. If you ever forget to lock your safe it gives another layer of security.
