Looking for powder/primers/bullets in Memphis

Recommended Posts

Looking into getting into reloading for .223, .308, and 9mm. I have a press (hornady progressive) with shell plates and dies (some still on order but they'll all be here in the next week or two), and I have plenty of brass tumbled and ready.

Problem is, I can't seem to find powder, primers, or bullets. Tried Sportsmans Warehouse and BP - they seem to only have supplies for shotguns.

Does anyone know where I can find supplies local?

You'll have to wait on David to get to Memphis.

So I've seen the references to David here in the forums - is there a price list? An in-stock list? A web site? I saw a post saying he'd be in Memphis next weekend, but there's very little detail.

Completely new to reloading, but from the reseaching I've done here's what I think I need:

9mm:

147g RN jacketed or plated - looking for cheaptarget shooting here

Power Pistol powder

CCI 500 primers

.223

65-77g boat-tail - again looking for cheap here. This round will be primarily target/varmint @ 200+ yards.

RL-15 powder

CCI 400 primers

.308

already have 150g speer BTSP bullets

RL-15 powder

CCI 200 primers

I'm open to suggestions, tho.

I was at Sportsman's Warehouse at lunch today and they had about 9k of the CCI 200 large rifle primers.  They may or may not still have some.

That's what he means. Just go. David will have all or most of what you need.
