Anyone Squirrel hunting this weekend?  I might head out tomorrow morning because it looks like there might be some sun.

No, but I should be. Those things are trying to take over the world here where I am. I have been so busy at work the last few months, I have missed all the hunting :(

Have fun!

I don't hunt anymore but I haven't seen hardly any squirrels this year. A few years back we had them everywhere. My wife spotted a Fox squirrel a few weeks ago.

Excellent picture. Squirrel hunting with 22 LR or Short is the only way to go. I too wish I could go, this is a past time I grew up with and each year on opening day I try to go. My kids love it! This is truly the best way to develop and hone target shooting the old fashion way.

it looks like i will have some time to go hunting for the "tree rat".  the ridge behind the pole barn is full this year.

Dave, you know you have an open invitation (as well as everyone else here) to get in on a rabbit hunt. We will hit them heavy beginning Feb 1st! Just let me know!

That'll work for sure Jeff! At least mine does anyway. I like the olive color combo you have there. DaveS, I'll be getting in touch soon. Work has been crazy but its slowing down now. I'm looking forward to some rabbit hunting and good conversation.

I'd love to harvest and eat some rabbit. Haven't seen many on my normal hunting grounds in Cumberland Furnace. Should I bring .22LR or 12ga?
