Blount County Sheriff on Confiscation??

Has anyone talked to Sheriff Berrong to get his stance on enforcing unconstitutional firearms laws? Figured someone on here probably knows him personally or has talked to him.

I'm seriously considering a letter to our local sheriff (with copies of the Utah Sheriff's Assoc. letter, et al) asking what stance he intends to take to protect the rights of citizens in his jurisdiction.

i have talked to our sheriff here in fayetteville bout 25 minutes .

he told me he was standing by his oath and he was not coming after anyones guns

because he new they would be facing the wrong end of them and he wanted no part of it.

I talked to Lt. Ailey at the Pro 2A rally and asked him directly about whether or not Sheriff Berrong would enforce unconstitutional gun laws in Blount County. He said that he definitlely would not. I was disappointed that the sheriff did not show up in person. I would have liked to hear it directly from his mouth. Hopefully we'll never have to see if he keeps his word.
