Watched Iron Sky on netflix. This is a seriously funny show. It is a "nazi's on the moon" comedy done by dutchmen. There are many nazi exploitation flicks but most are only funny by accident because they are so bad. Ferinstance last year there was a netflix movie of Nazis at the Center of the Earth that was only funny in a Mystery Science 3000 fashion. However Iron Sky is genuinely funny.

 

It is 2018 and President Sarah Palin has launched a moon mission to the dark side of the moon as a re-election stunt. The campaign posters show Palin with the token black moon astronaut, and the slogan, "Black to the Moon: Yes She Can." But the astronauts are waylaid at the huge Nazi moon base established in 1945, and then as the movie progresses the invasion begins.

The preview is deceptive because only viewing the trailer one might get the impression it is trying to be a serious film.

Yep, I've seen these both. I really don't know what to say about them. I'll watch darn near anything and stubbornly finish it, but these were a mighty, mighty effort.

 

But then, I even sat thru one of the worst Japanese sifi flicks in history...The Green Slime. Now that was awful.
