They all say: ALL TYPES including the following

Don't worry if they didn't list yours specifically. It is included

Voted on?  Why waste time and money letting the people decided when they can decide for us?  After all, that's why we elected them...    :shake:

I didn't mean us as a people vote I mean when could we expect this to be voted on by our house members .... Smh Edited by mcordell

The bill text hasn't been posted yet but they have changed the "test" to detachable magazine + 1 feature. So m1 carbines / m1a are included (edit: according to this
http://www.feinstein.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/assault-weapons-ban-summary it looks like bayonet lugs are no longer a test so maybe m1 carbine is ok???)

If this were to pass I'm curious what happens to grandfathered weapons. Can they be transferred at all? It does say that high (normal) capacity magazines will not be transferable. Will they require them to be registered as nfa items? Edited by jeffmem

That Kel-Tec SUB 2000 is especially evil, since you can fold it in half and conceal it in a backpack... plus it's got that evil-looking front sight, a minimalist stock, and (gasp) a pistol grip! :drama:

Interesting that the M1A isn't on the list.

Because it doesn't have a pistol grip...do you believe the stupidity of it all? I can keep my M1A but, she wants my AR15 and my Cetme!

She isn't getting any of them.

What are the Barrett .50's doing on there? I thought those were only ten round magazines? Or is it because ".50's have no place in the civilian hands?"

It's because they are "advertised as being able to shoot down commercial aircraft with one shot."

I must have missed that ad, the same could be said for practically anything that would fire something into the plane's engine.

Yup.  But they are completely ineffective against private aircraft, so it's really just a piece of junk, don't waste your money on one. ;)

The winner of cheapest weapon on the list is..... Drumroll............high point carbine! What the heck is that doing on there?

Why, we can't allow poor people to have easy access to firearms!  Imagine what that bunch of rabble and peasants might do if they get their hands on guns!

Looks like the revolver will be GTG unless it has a flash suppressor or more than 2 speed loaders.

This is only the old 'camels nose under the tent'.  If this gets traction we will see more and more firearms added over time.  There is no stopping this shitte once it gets moving.

Yep anything 50+ is being eyeballed, that's why I mentioned they needed to make a more powerful .49 just to prove a point

By the way guys/gals, this is ONLY the specifically named firearms. She is still to include the criteria that classify rifles as "AW's", and all "AW's" will be banned.

So these are just in addition to, not the be all end all from what I understand.

One thing that aggravates the living piss out of me is how the religious organizations (especially catholics) are endorsing this bill, when she stated she didn't care about their beliefs and that they should be forced to offer contraceptives.

I guess our our memory now only goes 140 characters backwards now as well.

Looks like they went to the LGS and looked at the rack and said that one looks evil, and that one and that one and that one......

According to a quote from her in an article I read, she said (I paraphrase) I have looked at the pictures of the assault weapons from 1994 and 2012 and have made a list of weapons that should be banned.

BRILLIANT!   :screwy:

That's the way I understand it, too. Lot's of other guns will meet the criteria, but she decided that some guns are SO evil that they deserved to be called by name.
