It could be worse. You could have too many 1911s.

GC, are those 3 on the left model 19s? 2 of them combat masterpieces? I have a 6" 19-3 and LOVE IT! It's my favorite gun. Tell me about yours!

a K-22 Model 17-2, and two Model 27-2, one 6", the other 5"...

I have been looking for a 19-2, but haven't found one satisfactory, so I "settle" on 27's...

The first one I bought, the sale came undone, so I bought the 5", then the 6" became available again, so I ended up with two. Can't decide which I like better... they are both great shooters.

I'll be happy to take that Model 17 off your hands.

Dave, I don't think you'd be happy with this 45 yr old POS. It comes with too much baggage: The original grips, target grips, box, papers, wax paper... And I suspect someone tampered with the action by reducing the trigger pull. Besides, it only seems able to hit what you aim at and where's the challenge?

Have you seen the one they have at HeroGear? If you are into vintage bullseye competition pistols, you might want to check it out.

No, I haven’t been there in a year. I’m not really looking for vintage; I’m looking for a shooter. I ran a WTB ad several places and haven’t had a single response other than some high end collectables. I have a couple of guns for sale right now and if I haven’t found something by the time I sell them I’m thinking about pulling the trigger on a new 617.

But ya, you’re right. Now that I see that again I don’t know what I was thinking. Look at that wax paper in the box; it’s all wrinkled up.
