There's just no accounting for taste. Now he wants to overcome us and our culture.  I think the South is one of the few areas of the country that still has culture.  When people think of American food, they think of Southern cooking. When people think of American music they think of Jazz, Blues, Country and Rock and Roll. All Southern!  Think of all the great Southern writers, poets and artists!  The South IS America's culture.

Rangel aint nothin but a blue state jackass demigogue carpetbaggin wannabe that has been hogging the public trough way too long.  He is able to say the outlandish and un-american things he says because he is firmly ensconced in a ultra-blue district full of low information "children" who evidently see things the way he does.  If i wuz a Darwinist i would point these folks out as an example of "lesser children".   They aint evolved too much since the civil war. I say to ole Charlie and his "children": ".... come on down here and take an honest look.  Ya might learn a few things ya desparately need to know.  Expand your mind.  It'll do wonders for you if you are honest...".  Im also ok with 'em commin down with vengence in their hearts; but they better be the real thing.  The brotherly kindness thing has about worn off with me.

from what i have read he is really responsible for the hughes amendment. he pulled some of his slimy tricks and worked a vote that would not have passed other wise

Funny how he has been investigated for ethics violations. He also single handedly changed the law in 1986 to prevent the sale of new machine guns. He called a voice vote and declared it passed even though by all accounts it did not.

Hey I am originally from the north and this guy makes me want to puke. New York is so progressive that women walking through central park get gang raped because they can't defend themselves. Makes me happy that I moved here 20 years ago, and married a great southern lady. And hopefully I can retire from the boats in about 9 years, and only go north to visit family.

So its not surprising that they get bitter and they cling to statism or socialism or antipathy towards people who are not like them, as a way to explain their frustrations.
