Great time today! Thanks for hosting Spots. Here I was looking through the scope and someone lights off the first batch of tannerite without me knowing it was coming. Good thing I was laying flat, because my mind was saying "Get Down"! It was a good time!

I mention the signs to my mom and like the southern lady she is, she tells me its the thought that counts, even if the neighbors down the mountain can't spell lol.

First off a huge thank you to everyone who came. A shoot without people attending ain't much of a shoot.

Huge thank you to the guys who brought tannerite. You made my day getting to see that stuff.

To all the people who let me shoot various toys, from silenced .22's, to 460 and 500 revolvers, an fs2000, a 45 win mag and .401 winchester, and the 338 lapua (and a few Im sure I forgot, another huge thank you for spreading the joy. Its been an awesome day with amazing weather and people all around. Thank you guys, and hopefully we will see everyone plus a few more next time.

I am glad I came out. At 6am I was reconsidering it. I enjoyed the time there and even though the trip was a bit scary it was worth every "Oh ####" I said on the way up.

 

I am also glad I got to place some faces with names even though I have forgotten them all. I wanted to stay longer but had to go. I did get to shoot a gun I never shot before, thanks GoneBallistic.

 

We need to do this a few more times a year.

Spots, who was the guy that came buy wearing the water bladder & big beard? He asked who was in charge so I pointed at you. I thought he might not be happy. Just keeping a streak going, I don't think we have had a shoot where someone hasn't complained or the police showed up.

My cousin. His brother was the one splitting the wood that owns the land. Hes kind of a prick sometimes. He had planned on hiking I guess. Not something I'm worried about at all since his brother, the owner thought the tannerite was funny as shit

Thanks. I couldn't quite tell either to be honest. I say next time we each set  up 5lbs tannerite and shoot em at the same time. His .460 + my .338 + 10lbs combined at the same time has gotta be one heck of a bang.

I made a list Friday while at work and item #1was sunscreen but I forgot and left the list at work. My arms and neck are glowing. Getting old sucks. Thank for hosting Spots. It was a fun day. Good to put faces with names. What a beautiful setting. Spots you are lucky to have access to such a nice place.
