I have actually started shooting my 300 Blackout a lot more because it is cheaper than 22's now.

Dolomite

what? How is this cheaper than .22LR? That would mean you are getting it for under .04/round.

I've got about 6-7k in 22lr so I guess I could be shooting more than I have been. I try to keep about 1000 per caliber and am running about there for everything else beside 7.62x54R and .223 which I am quite short on. Of course I'm starting to understand that my idea of low ammo numbers differs from the next guys. I've been going every few weeks but since Newtown have been limiting my shooting to .22 and only bringing a staggering 100 rounds per trip. Lucily a member here hooked me up with a conversion bolt for the AR so I've still been able to shoot that. I think I'm going to dust off the old Romanian M69 and start bringing that instead. It's dead on accurate, only holds 5 rounds and has to be cycled manually after each shot. That should stretch the meager supply until this madness stops and I can order a case of bulk packs.

.22 goes pfft. Blackout goes boom. It's a different thing :). I haven't had my .22's out in way over a year, maybe 2. I likes my center fire. Dolomite just about has me talked into casting for 30 cal. Bullets are almost free, so all you have is powder and primer costs.

I haven't been since the begining of the year.

My membership at CHMR expired and since I am out of work it is a luxury that was cut from the budget until I get I new job.

I am also low on ammo. only have 3 to 4 hundred in each of my calibers
