Thought it was "Give me liberty or give me death." Not to be nit picky, words of this importance deserve to be accurately quoted. Besides that a person can have freedom and still not taste the sweet taste of liberty. Edited by TrickyNicky

Sorry about that, i had a momentary brain .... Correction made. Liberty is quality or state of being free. Freedom was on my mind. Edited by ThePunisher

I like both the shortened version quoted by ThePunisher, and the full quote delivered to the Virginia Convention:
