Errrr...I'm missing something...

I just got this from UPS today: Lee Reloader

I also have a .308 set of dies on the way. Minus primers and powder I think I'm close except I'm really unclear if I can de-prime with this set. I was under the impression it came with shell holders but I was wrong so I'll have to get those as well. Am I missing anything else. The directions are written by someone who didn't really think of the beginner and it seemed to just skip over the de-priming step. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Looks like the Lee #90050. Doesn't come with shell holders. The Lee #90030 does, but they are for priming.
  • You'll have to wait till the dies come in to decap.

De-priming die & re-size die are one & same. Get you a good reloading manual ( ABCs of Reloading, and Modern Reloading

2nd Edition by Lee, since you have a Lee setup ), would help you a great deal. Read the heck out of 'em. You'll be

off to a good start.

Welcome to the club. Lots of good info on here & good folks wiling to help. Enjoy.....

Some of the die sets come with a shell holder. You may be good to go. The sizing die deprimes the case.

BTW... if you don't have calipers, you need to get some. Gotta have them
