I got to put an LCP on layaway today. It was the first one that came into our new gun shop in town and I had the honors of getting the first one. My Kel-tec P380 got passed down to Mark as his BUG.

What did you have to give him for it?

I checked out a new gun shop today. Well, they don't officially open until tomorrow. Anyway, they had in an LCP and sold it for $280 plus the normal stuff.

They also have a P3AT and P32, but no prices on them yet. I'm told that their wholesaler is out of them and it will probably be about five weeks before they get any more Kel-Tecs. That's a normal story for my area.

Well just got back from the range, mine feeds great. My wifes jams a little.

My daughter had the same problem with a Kel Tec I was baby sitting. Turns out it was fine with anyone else shooting it, but she was limp wristing and that was the problem.

Wow! First time I've heard that. Normally, I have trouble getting the magazines apart for cleaning.

Well, me too. But on the Kel Tec mag it has a small piece of plastic in the butt that has two nipples on one side that fit into the mag spring. The nipple on the other side fits the mag base. It's a simple system but the small groves where the base slides onto the mag to retain the spring had slipped over the groves in the mag and popped out.

I'm sure it was a fluke. It has not happened again....

Actually, the same thing happened to one of our magazines. We have two, the standard magazine that comes with the Kel-Tec and then an extended Magazine that holds a couple more rounds and extends the length of the grip. I'm not sure which magazine came apart. But it did the exact same thing. It was really easy to fix and I don't think it's happened again.

It was doing it to me as well. I may not have gave it a good clean/lube when I did mine. I'll take it out and shoot it some more and take it from there.

My local gunshop is getting one this week. I cant decide if im going to buy it or wait until the hoopla is over and see how cheap they get.

In a year will they be 259.00 or so? Will they hold onto thier current price range?

So little money, so many guns...............
