Acme Meats Van in Ten Mile Area (Roane County)

My step dad was up in the woods a couple days ago when his inside dog ran up to him about 500 yards from the house. Knowing there was no way the dog could get out of the fenced in yard he got suspicious and walked back to the house. A little background to help explain the situation, his driveway is up a ridge 3/4 of a mile off the road, wooded, and with no neighbors around. He sits on over 400 acres up there. As he walked down to the house a man was peeking through a window in the back of the house and at least one other man was in the van. He confronted the man who barely spoke English. He told me that the man seemed completely unfazed by the tiger 454 in a holster across his chest. Long story short they left after a VERY Stern warning. When I told a buddy who lives in the area what happened he told me that it happened to him also and the next day a utility trailer was stolen off his property. On both accounts the local authorities were notified, but I thought I would post this for those who live around the area.
