Small group coffee and discussion Knoxville area

I thought I'd see who may be interested in this area for a once a month morning get together for a friendly, small group discussion on current topics like Davids get together in Nashville. Just like Davids thread for one in Nashville, reply here or pm, and we will get a date, time, and place setup. Me personally I would prefer not to have someone show up in full tacticool mode open carrying in a thigh holster. So please lets make this a discrete, friendly get together. If anyone has suggestions for a meet place lets here it. I would vote for Shoneys in Oak Ridge, but thats lopsided in my direction, and I don't know enough about Knoxville to suggest anywhere else.

I'll be happy to attend if I am in town that weekend. My wife is in Med school in JC so I can't really determine if I'll be in Knox or not. So y'all pick a day and place and I'll try to attend.

I'm interested as well. I'm on the opposite side of Knoxville, about the same distance as Oak Ridge is. Somewhere in Knoxville would be good for me.

There is a Shoney's at Walker Springs Road just off the interstate in west Knoxville if interested. That may be more centrally located and easy to find for most. Something else to think about is that a lot of folks go out to ORSA on Saturday mornings and may not be able to attend at that time. Just a thought.

I think this will work just fine. I'll be sending out pm's and posting here for members who would like to come. Remeber small friendly get together, not meeting to overthrow the goverment that wont be welcome here

Me and a fellow TGO member from Maryville would be interested in attending. West Knoxville is good for us. I agree with Spot's outlook on keeping a low profile though. Just keep me posted on the when and where.
