I have seen the 2022 for $400 new and will probably have to breakdown and get one of those. I prefer the heavier metal frames.

I have not seen a sig 2022 for under 500 in a couple of months. They were the best deal.

The single stack 225 are really nice. Should have bought one years ago when they were more prevalent. Even then they were pricey, new or used. I guess because there weren't many around and being a Sig. Comes down to concealibility or capacity IMO. Due to the crazy market, reasonable price (relative term) is higher than it was two months ago. If you want it and find it think hard before you pass it up. Gun control push is not going away anytime soon. Due to the times I would recommend capacity over concealability. Glock 19/26, XD and other options etc will conceal just as good as a 225.

If I had to give my P6 a nickname, I would call it "Rat Rod".   I have 1911's, CZ75's, S&W revolvers, Sig Scorpion 1911 carry, and some unmentionable poly-puke, but I'm an old school guy.  I left it as I bartered for it 4 yrs. ago with only a spring job and some walnut checkered Ebay grips.  I literally have less than $300 in the gun, but I love it the most.  She was born in December 1980, and at almost 33 yrs. old, is just getting into her prime.

I went to the range today at lunch (as it is $6.50 Monday) and decided to just take my P6 and give it the love it deserves so I helped her center kiss 100 rds.

I've never had a gun that handles and fits so well.  My CZ's are tack drivers, but this baby keeps up with those big dogs.

After work, I Googled "I love my P6" and I found this thread.  So.... I joined and decided to offer up my admiration for this fine piece.

Do not be embarrassed about wanting to own this gun and never listen to the naysayers.  I remember when toasters and TV's lasted 30-40 years and this is in the same genre.  We've become a disposable Walmart society that only cares about cheap and not quality, hence the Chinese have been giving us what we seek

A profound thanx goes out to Sig for the design and the European Countries that moth balled these beauties and sent them to the US.

Try Armslist for all states. There are some buys. Maybe one is a FFL or the seller will work with you to send it through a FFL. Here is a link of a filtered search:

I contacted all but 1 of those and they don't ship. Thanks for the filtered search. I did just sent that one I missed an email. Fingers crossed.

Welcome Fishfeet, go over to the introductions so others will meet and greet you too.  Also, search for the Sig group on TGO, and tell us about your Sigs.

I didn't know how to post pictures until I read in the help section.  So...here is "Rat Rod",   I have the same feeling for this that Toby Keith has for his "Red Solo Cup".  LOL
