I looked over that site. Chose the cheapest 22lr. One box of 500 shipped will be 37.20. But if I order 10 boxes, 1 case they will be 25.01 per box. Good thing I stocked up black friday.

I've had a few head shaking comments regarding keeping 30,000 rounds of .22lr stash, and about 5,000 of shooting stock.

Y'know what, that 30K rounds only cost about a grand, spread out over time too, of course.

Ain't nobody headshaking about any size stash of any caliber ammo right now, eh?

I was in walmart last night and the shelves were bare. Never seen it this bad before( but if it were, i never paid attention to any ammo shortage before). Luckily i stocked up during the summer. Have been looking online for ammo and they seem to only have the more expensive match grade ammo available.

It should last me a couple years.

I bought two boxes of Federal Champion a couple months ago from Gander Mtn for $18.99 for the 525 round bulk box. I just wished I had bought a case since you can't find it now. I have more .45 ammo than I do .22 and that's sad. I saw on gunbroker that the same ammo I bought for $18.99 is now selling for $40 - $50 a box. I'll be glad when this stuff settles back down

I recently snagged a case of CCI SV .22LR from SGammo also. LOL

I picked up a box or two of the Federal 550 round bulk packs every time I went to Walmart when they were $7.97, then $8.97, and even got some at $9.97. I even had my wife trained to do the same. She thought I was crazy, but now with two young boys burning through them, she finally understands. We aren't worried about finding 22 ammo at this time.
