Just got back from the show. I left with the feeling that the RK show just may be better than the Pope and Goodman shows. I'm not sure if it was the layout, but it seemed much more crowded as well.

If it was anything like the RK show was here, so far they're my favorite show promoter. I'm never going to another Pope show after the last one. Goodman has been so-so for me, so I'd rank that second.

I've always wondered how the RK shows are in Knoxville, Gray and Kingsport, TN.

Admission as noted on the crudely hand lettered sign was $10. First show I have been to in the area and I was a bit surprised. I found plenty of knives, holsters, ammo, tools, bags and uniforms and clothing articles, and lots of printed manuals and brochures in addition to the firearms and parts. The vendors were uniformly polite and easy to get along with. There were only a few of the C&R type firearms seen, and I saw a Swede 96 go for what a 94 was going for several years ago. Gasp!!! Without any intent to disparage the show or the promoters or the vendors or patrons, I think one would be better off to head off to the big Louisville Show at the Expo if one is looking for a wide selection of firearms and assorted items,. The vendors might not be as pleasant, but the selection of firearms is significantly better. Just an observation or two.

Does anyone know if J&T distributing are there?

I heard second-hand that they had to skip this show. Again, that's second hand info.

I'd like to make the trip to one of the Louisville shows sometime. I've heard is was quite large.

I looked at the Spikes, and was tempted to walk away with one. I'm still debating on what is the best way for me to get an AR, so I passed it up. They were about $135, right? They had a handful of designs, but some guy was talking to the girl about installing the insides, so I didn't look too hard.

their were different prices depending on if their was a design or not. but i can't remember the price for just the lower. just what i paid for it and the lpk.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHH!! And the women were so much better than those who attended the Pope and Goodman shows. My Gosh! There was one walking around with some short shorts and a pink top that was barely holding in her very large breasts. She was the highlight of the show for me.:)

Heading out this afternoon, anybody see any deals to good to pass up, that might still be there? Looking at Ruger LCP, AR cases, AR parts, Trijicon Reflex....

The ones with the laser engraving are $135, the standard Spike's are $120. The guy was talking to my wife, who is also a AR nut. I do custom builds for people also.

Glad that I got to meet some of you. I was pretty busy, but always try to make time for BSing if I can.

I should have Sabre Defence lowers again some time in the future. They are finishing production up on a run now. I was hoping to have them for this show but no joy.

As far as I could tell, it was an average gun show for this area. As far as "deals" go anyway. I looked, but didn't see a single LCP. There was a lady who had a fairly large selection of gun cases. I'm not in the market for one, so I didn;t look at them all that hard. Of course, there were TONS of AR parts. As far as the Trijicon Reflex, I saw tons of optics, but didn't pay that close attention to those either. I'm sure someone has them.

Enjoy and happy hunting.
